Jakarta, MINE – PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) Group has again recorded achievements in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR) by winning an award at the 2026 Nusantara CSR Awards. This award is recognition of the success of the community economic empowerment program carried out around the company’s operational areas.
The event, which was organized by the La Tofi School of Social Responsibility, took place at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski on April 8 2026, with an assessment based on program impact, innovation and contribution to sustainable development.

One of the main achievements was achieved by PPA Jobsite Adaro Indonesia which received a score of 88.00 with a distinction Platinum Alignment in the category of community economic resilience and value chains. The award is given through the program MSME Mightywhich focuses on strengthening the local economy through developing micro-entrepreneurs.
This program develops at least 16 local MSMEs with various training, ranging from financial management, business planning, to marketing strategies. This effort was made to answer the challenge of low product competitiveness amidst regional economic potential which is considered large, especially in Tabalong Regency.
Through this program, MSME players not only receive capacity building, but also continuous assistance, including evaluating business development and improving product quality. This approach is considered capable of encouraging the independence and professionalism of local business actors.
Apart from that, another business unit, PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM) Jobsite Vale Indonesia also won an award with a score of 94.85 and the Platinum Alignment predicate through the program Mahalona Partners. This program even falls into categories CEPI Champion Candidate – Zero Cost, High Impact Programbecause it is considered capable of protecting economic value of up to around IDR 3.38 billion from potential operational risks.
The Mitra Mahalona Program presents an innovative community partnership model, such as using residents’ homes to support company operations and developing catering businesses based on local potential. This program creates an economic turnover of around IDR 8 billion per year and opens up new business opportunities for the local community.
Section Head of HCGA PPA Jobsite Adaro, Singgih Prananda, emphasized the importance of the program’s continuity. He stated, “In the future, it is hoped that this legacy PPA can continue to synergize with the community and provide sustainable added value.”
Meanwhile, the person in charge of Vale’s AMM Site Operations, Akhmad Maulana Ibrahim, emphasized that the success of the CSR program is not only measured by awards, but by the real impact felt by the community. “The proof should not only come from the charter but also the positive impact on society,” he said.
Overall, the PPA Group CSR program is considered to be in line with a number of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets, such as alleviating poverty, creating decent jobs, reducing disparities, and strengthening partnerships.
Through these various initiatives, PPA emphasizes its commitment to continue to encourage inclusive, independent and sustainable local economic development, while strengthening harmonious relations between companies and communities around mining areas.
