Jakarta, MINE – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) donated one unit of Komatsu PC210-10M0 excavator to the North Maluku Provincial Government as well as one unit electric simulator to the Ternate Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP).
The handover of the grant was represented by the Director of UT, Ari Sutrisno, to the Governor of North Maluku Province, Sherly Tjoanda, and was officially carried out in Ternate, on Tuesday, January 20 2026.
In his speech, UT Director, Ari Sutrisno said that this grant is part of UT’s efforts to bring the world of vocational education closer to the real needs of industry.
“Today, UT officially handed over a grant of 1 unit of Komatsu PC210-10M0 excavator and 1 unit Electric Simulator to the North Maluku Provincial Government,” said Ari in an official statement, quoted Monday (26/1).
The Komatsu PC210-10M0 excavator that was donated is hydraulic excavators the latest generation in the 20 ton class. Apart from that, the presence of the Electric Simulator unit is expected to help training participants understand the working principles of the system, as well as being a learning and training tool troubleshooting comprehensive.
“We want training participants at BPVP to be able to learn to use the same tools they will encounter in the world of work. We would like to express our thanks to the North Maluku Provincial Government for its support so that this collaboration can be realized,” added Ari.
North Maluku Province has enormous natural resource potential and development opportunities, so it requires the support of competent and industrial standard human resources. Through this grant, PT United Tractors Tbk hopes to contribute to encouraging the readiness of the local workforce to be able to compete and be ready to enter the world of work.
In the future, UT is committed to continuing to strengthen collaboration with various stakeholders in human resource development as part of the company’s contribution to creating an Indonesian workforce that is superior, competitive and ready to face future industrial needs.
The handover ceremony was held at BPVP Ternate and attended by the Governor of North Maluku Province, Sherly Tjoanda; Deputy Governor of North Maluku Province, Sarbin Sehe; Head of the North Maluku Province Manpower and Transmigration Service, Dr. Marwan Policeri, SKM., MPH; Head of Ternate Vocational and Productivity Training Center in Sofifi, Abdul Aziz, ST., MM; UT Director, Ari Sutrisno; Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo; and UT Corporate Communications Manager, Himawan Sutanto.
