Jakarta, MINE – PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) succeeded in winning the General Champion title at the 2025 Indonesia Rescue Summit organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK).
The award trophy was handed over directly by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno, to the Security and External Relations Section Head Head Office (HO), Pangarsa Budi Utama, at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Damkar and Fire Training Center, Ciracas, East Jakarta, on Thursday (27/11).
“Congratulations to the champions, please lift the trophy again,” said Coordinating Minister for PMK, Pratikno in his speech.

Pratikno explained that the Indonesia Rescue Summit was a strategic effort to increase the skills, capacity and vigilance of rescue personnel in facing various risks of critical incidents. This activity is important considering that Indonesia is a country that is very prone to natural disasters, especially hydrometeorological disasters, the intensity of which is increasing.
“The Indonesia Rescue Summit is an effort to increase skills, capacity, and maintain vigilance to save people from the risk of very critical incidents. As we know, Indonesia is a country that is very prone to natural disasters, especially severe hydrometeorological disasters,” added Pratikno.

Pratikno invited the community to become a resilient nation in facing disasters. He said, the government together with the private sector, including Basarnas and various related parties, continue to strengthen collaboration to ensure that rescue capabilities are increasingly optimal.
“So we have to become a nation that is resilient in facing disasters and because of that, we and the private sector, Basarnas and together save citizens, save our assets and even save company assets,” he explained.
Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Marshal TNI Mohammad Syafii, hopes that the Indonesia Rescue Summit can provide real support for the government’s duties in ensuring the safety of all Indonesian citizens.
“It is hoped that this activity will really support the government’s duties in ensuring the safety of all Indonesian citizens,” said Mohammad Syafii.
He said, capacity building efforts are not only directed at certain communities, but also at the entire community so that they have the basic ability to take initial action when an emergency situation occurs. In this way, the level of national preparedness can increase and the risk of disaster impacts can be minimized.
“We are also not only reminding communities, but all citizens have the ability to take early action when an emergency occurs,” he added.
Defending champion
PT Pamapersada Nusantara succeeded in winning the title of General Champion of the Indonesia Rescue Summit for the third time. This year, the participants under the guidance of coach Muhammad Sapri sent two teams.

Team B won 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze, while Team A managed to take home 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.
There are seven categories being contested, all of which are directly related to handling emergencies in the real world, namely Water Rescue, Vehicle Accident Rescue, Rescue Fitness Drill, Logistics Management, Emergency Medical Team, Establishment of Emergency Tent, and Fire Fighting.
CCOS Head PAMA, Darmawan Rahmadi hopes that the participants will continue to practice and develop their skills. According to him, developments in technology and rescue equipment are now getting faster and better, so capabilities must continue to be improved.
“The hope is that they will continue to practice, develop their knowledge, because the development of equipment is also increasing in quality over time. So if we don’t follow it over time we will be left behind,” said Darmawan.
Regarding the achievement of General Champion, Darmawan explained that this was the result of the consistency of PAMA emergency response personnel in training and learning, even through competitions at the internal level, namely the PAMA Fire and Rescue Challenge (PFRC).

“The PFRC competition is very useful when there is a competition like this. We have been in the PAMA environment, when we leave we will definitely gain new knowledge, we will get new competitors who may have more knowledge, so that we can emulate what is best and it will definitely be useful for us,” he said.
Darmawan hopes that the Indonesia Rescue Summit can continue and develop, with an increasing variety of competitions and the use of increasingly advanced technology. He emphasized that this event is not only a means of competition, but also an important momentum to improve the abilities, preparedness and professionalism of all rescue workers in Indonesia.
“We hope that the Indonesia Rescue Summit will continue and continue to develop. The variety of competitions will also increase and the technology will also follow, according to current developments,” he concluded.
