Proven Environmental Commitment, United Tractors Group Achieves Green and Blue PROPER from KLH

A number of entities in the United Tractors Group have succeeded in winning Green and Blue PROPER awards from the Ministry of the Environment (KLH).

Jakarta, MINE – The United Tractors Group has again demonstrated its commitment to environmental management by winning the Green and Blue PROPER awards from the Ministry of the Environment for the 2024–2025 period.

Green PROPER recipients include UT, PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), PT Bhumi Jati Power (BJP), and PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM). Meanwhile, Blue PROPER was won by PT United Tractors Semen Gresik (UTSG), PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP), and PT Supreme Energy Rantau Dedap (SERD).

This award, which was organized by the Ministry of the Environment, was presented at the PROPER Award event which took place offline at Sasono Langen Budoyo, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, and was attended by the Minister of the Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq.

Hanif Faisol Nurofiq in his speech expressed his appreciation to all companies participating in PROPER. He emphasized that the Green rating reflects the real contribution of the business world in preserving the environment.

“To companies that achieve a Green rating, we appreciate the various efforts beyond compliance which has provided real benefits to the ecosystem and surrounding communities. “This is a form of environmental leadership that should be appreciated,” said Hanif Faisol, quoted Thursday (9/4).

“PROPER is no longer just an administrative evaluation instrument, but has developed into a motor of transformation that encourages companies to not only comply with regulations, but also exceed standards through innovation, resource efficiency, and sustainable contributions to society,” he added.

Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo, also said that this achievement is a manifestation of the UT Group’s ongoing commitment to managing the environment responsibly.

“Achieving this PROPER Green Rating reflects our efforts to exceed compliance standards through implementing an integrated environmental management system. We believe that this not only supports the sustainability of the company’s operations, but also provides added value for the community and all stakeholders,” said Dianwahyu.

In the 2024-2025 assessment period, the UT Group achieved a Green Rating which shows that the company has exceeded compliance standards and consistently implemented a systematic and sustainable environmental management system. This achievement also confirms UT’s consistency in carrying out environmentally responsible business practices.

The PROPER assessment criteria cover various aspects, including efficient use of resources such as water and energy, emission control, management of B3 and non-B3 waste, protection of biodiversity, and empowerment of communities around operational areas.

UT Group’s participation in PROPER is part of the company’s commitment to regulatory compliance as well as integrated environmental risk control in operational activities. In the future, UT is committed to continuing to improve environmental management performance and actively contributing to supporting sustainable development in Indonesia.
