Jakarta, MINE — PT Pamapersada Nusantara PT Kideco Jaya Agung District (PAMA KIDE) emphasized its commitment to environmental sustainability and inclusive community empowerment through tree planting activities involving students from the Tanah Grogot State Special School (SLBN), Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

The activity carried out on Tuesday (7/4/2026) not only focuses on greening efforts, but is also part of the company’s strategic initiative in encouraging the empowerment of people with disabilities. This program is designed to instill environmental awareness while strengthening the value of inclusiveness in society.

CSR Section Head of PAMA KIDE, Ghani Rasyid, explained that this activity was a real step in integrating aspects of environmental preservation with social empowerment.

“This activity is not just planting trees, but also instilling awareness that every individual, including friends with disabilities, has the same role in maintaining the sustainability of the earth,” said Ghani, quoted Monday (20/4).

In this activity, SLBN Tanah Grogot students showed high enthusiasm when participating in each stage of tree planting. With the teacher’s assistance, they learned directly from opening the polybag, placing the seeds into the planting hole, to covering it again with soil.

This program is also part of a collaborative approach between industry and educational institutions in creating sustainable social impact. PAMA KIDE emphasizes that sustainability is not only measured from environmental aspects, but also from the extent to which a company is able to provide benefits to all levels of society without exception.

Paser SLB Supervisor, Sukirno, appreciated PAMA KIDE’s contribution and consistency in supporting greening programs in the school environment.

“We would like to express our gratitude for the collaboration that has been well established. The presence of PAMA KIDE has had a positive impact, especially in creating a greener and more beautiful school environment. Hopefully this collaboration can continue,” he said.

In line with that, the Head of SLBN Tanah Grogot, Solikatun Napiah, hopes that this activity can provide long-term benefits for the students’ learning process. “We hope that this planting will not only beautify the school environment, but also become a learning tool that can foster the character of loving the environment in our students,” he said.

Through this initiative, PAMA KIDE reaffirms its commitment to prioritizing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, especially in the aspects of environmental preservation and social inclusiveness.
