Longwall Associates – Nelson Addair

Longwall Associates, Inc., the only U.S. owned supplier of longwall conveyors announces the retirement of Nelson Addair.  Nelson Addair served as Service Manager and was one of the first staff to join the company during its 1996 formation. During his 29 years with Longwall Associates Nelson oversaw the company’s service and maintenance program for every customer operating Longwall Associates equipment. Addair started his career at Island Creek Coal Co.’s  Virginia Pocahontas Division where he rose from Mechanic to Longwall Coordinator during a 23 year career. Drew Walker is taking over as Service Manager at Longwall Associates.
