Strengthening Services in the Nickel Industry, Multi Power Aditama Opens Branch in Kendari

Date:

Jakarta, MINE — The leading provider of heavy equipment components in Indonesia, PT Multi Power Aditama (MPA) officially opened a new branch in Kendari on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

The office is located on Jl. La Ode Hadi Bypass, an area which is now developing rapidly as a mining industry corridor in Kendari City.

So far, customers in Southeast Sulawesi have relied on component deliveries and technical services from MPA branches in Makassar and Balikpapan. The presence of the Kendari branch is a strategic step to reduce spare parts distribution time and speed up service response in the field.

“By opening a branch in Kendari, we are not only shortening the logistics distance, but also confirming our commitment to being a trusted partner who is present right at the heart of national mining industry activities,” said General Manager of PT Multi Power Aditama, Joseph Effendy in a statement received by mining.co.id, Monday (3/11).

During its 34 years of operation, MPA is known as a provider of heavy equipment components such as undercarriage and ground engaging tools (GET) for the coal, nickel and mineral industries. With long experience and an extensive service network, the company continues to strive to ensure that customer needs in the mining sector can be met quickly, reliably and efficiently.

In recent years, Southeast Sulawesi has developed into a national nickel mining center. Increasing mining activity in the Konawe, Kolaka and Morowali areas has also driven a surge in demand for heavy equipment and spare parts. The presence of MPA in Kendari is a logical response to this dynamic. Equipped with adequate storage and a team of technicians ready to be deployed to the field, this new branch is expected to be able to provide faster and more affordable service solutions for mining industry players in eastern Indonesia.

Apart from speeding up distribution, the Kendari branch has also been appointed as the coordination center for after-sales services and heavy equipment maintenance for the southeastern Sulawesi region. With an internal logistics system and integrated technical support, this branch is targeted to become one of the most active service points in the MPA national network.

The opening of the Kendari branch completes MPA’s national network which now has 16 locations throughout Indonesia. This expansion is proof of the company’s consistency in providing services that are closer, more responsive and according to customer needs. With the new infrastructure in Kendari, MPA can now reach a wider range of nickel industrial areas in eastern Indonesia — from Konawe to Morowali.

As a company committed to efficiency and reliability, PT Multi Power Aditama continues to strengthen its position in the national heavy equipment industry. The opening of the Kendari branch is not just a business expansion step, but a concrete form of support for the continuity and growth of the Indonesian mining industry.
