PLN Opens Voice Regarding Electricity Disturbances in Several Areas of Jakarta

PT PLN (Persero) has opened its voice regarding electrical disturbances that have occurred in a number of areas in Jakarta since 10.25 WIB.

“PLN Persero is moving to restore the electricity system from disruptions that occurred in parts of Jakarta since 10.25 WIB,” said Senior Manager of Communications and General Affairs at PLN Greater Jakarta Distribution Main Unit, Haris Andika in a written statement, Thursday (23/4).

Haris explained that his party was still investigating the cause of the power outage and was currently in the process of normalizing both the supply side and the control system in the field.

“Gradually, the process of normalizing the electricity supply was carried out by PLN both in the control system and in the field, since the initial disruption occurred. Our technical team is currently carrying out intensive handling to restore the entire electricity system,” he explained.

“Parallel to the recovery process, PLN is investigating the source of the disturbance that occurred,” he added.

PLN urges the public to remain calm and not be influenced by irresponsible information.

Currently, all personnel continue to be on standby and are working to ensure that the electricity supply returns to normal as soon as possible.

“PLN will periodically convey information on the development of the electricity system restoration process via the PLN Mobile application and the PLN 123 Contact Center,” he concluded.
