Jakarta, MINE – Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Yassierli supports PAMA Group’s efforts to provide a safe and comfortable homecoming journey for employees and their families through the Mudik Bersama 2026 program.
This support was conveyed when Minister of Manpower Yassierli officially released hundreds of travelers at the PAMA Group Head Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (18/3).
“This program is not just a facility, but a real form of the company’s concern for workers’ welfare. This also reflects increasingly mature industrial relations,” said Yassierli.

In this activity, 326 participants departed using 11 buses to various cities across islands and provinces. This program is an initiative of PT Pamapersada Nusantara and the group to support employee welfare ahead of Idul Fitri 1447 Hijriah.
According to Yassierli, organized homecoming together has an important role in increasing travel safety. With a coordinated and standardized transportation system, the risk of accidents can be minimized compared to traveling independently.
He also emphasized the importance of driver readiness as the main factor in safety. “Apart from the condition of the vehicle, the driver is a very determining factor. Make sure the driver is fit so that the journey remains safe and comfortable,” he explained.
As a preventive measure, the Ministry of Manpower is presenting a driver readiness inspection program in six cities, in collaboration with ten universities. This program includes health checks and computer-based tests to measure alertness levels.

Meanwhile, the President Director of PT Pamapersada Nusantara, Hendra Hutahean, emphasized that the program was themed Safe Family Happy Homecoming This is part of the company’s commitment to supporting overall employee welfare.
“This program is not only about transportation facilities, but also the company’s attention to the happiness of its employees and their families. We want to ensure they can go home safely and comfortably,” said Hendra.
He added, this year PAMA dispatched 11 buses with a total of around 326 participants consisting of employees and family members. This program is also part of a series of previous homecoming activities with a total of more than a thousand participants.
According to Hendra, safety aspects are the main priority in implementing this program. The entire fleet has gone through an inspection process and is confirmed to be roadworthy, including the readiness of the drivers.
“Coordinated travel like this is expected to provide a sense of security compared to independent travel, while minimizing risks during the homecoming flow,” he explained.

Furthermore, he hopes that this activity can strengthen the bond between employees and the company. “We want to build a working relationship that is not only transactional, but also creates a sense of belonging and togetherness as part of PAMA,” he added.
This year’s PAMA Group Homecoming Program reaches various strategic areas, starting from across Sumatra, the Central Java Pantura route, to East Java and the southern regions of Java such as Yogyakarta and Cilacap. With a projection of homecoming movements reaching 140–150 million people in 2026, this initiative is considered increasingly relevant in supporting safe, comfortable and coordinated homecoming travel.
