MSMEs and UT Waste Bank Cadres Win the 2025 Wonder Mom Awards

Jakarta, MINE – Two women assisted by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) won the 2025 Wonder Mom Awards for their real contribution in the environmental and economic fields.

Haryati, a UT-assisted MSME operator, was awarded the “Excellent Mom in Urban Agriculture Movement” award, while Sere Rohana Napitupulu, a UT Waste Bank cadre, received the “Excellent Mom in Community Environmental Stewardship” award.

The awarding was held in Jakarta (22/12/2025), coinciding with the momentum of Mother’s Day.

The 2025 Wonder Mom Awards is an appreciation event designed to strengthen the role of women, especially mothers or mompreneurswho have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and real contributions in developing micro-enterprises and social activities in their communities. This activity is also a space for inspiration, learning, and increasing self-confidence for women entrepreneurs so they are able to advance to class, become economically empowered, and contribute to sustainable development.

Haryati, a D’Shafa MSME player, has been part of the UT Economy CSR program since 2020. Through mentoring and capacity building with the Cakung Business Development Institute (LPB), Haryati succeeded in developing a business based on urban farmingstarting from cultivation to processing and selling urban agricultural products. Her dedication to empowering the surrounding environment has made Haryati a figure local hero who is inspiring and worthy of being a role model for other MSMEs assisted by UT.

Meanwhile, Sere Rohana Napitupulu, manager of the Bumi Malaka Asri Waste Bank, has collaborated with UT in developing the concept of a sustainable waste bank and community-based environmental management in the East Jakarta area. His role as an environmental cadre not only has an impact on better waste management, but also encourages collective community awareness of the importance of protecting the environment while increasing the economic value of waste management.

Haryati and Sere’s success reflects UT’s commitment to implementing corporate social responsibility programs that focus on economic empowerment and environmental preservation. Through continuous assistance, UT not only provides facility support, but also strengthens community capacity and independence so that they are able to create long-term positive impacts.

UT believes that women have a strategic role in driving social and economic change. It is hoped that the appreciation achieved by these mentors can be an inspiration for more mothers in Indonesia to continue to work, be empowered and contribute to the environment and the welfare of society.
