Jakarta, MINE – The Kasih PAMA Foundation (YKP) showed concern for public health again through the implementation of Free Cataract Surgery which took place on Saturday, November 22 2025, at Muara Teweh Regional Hospital, North Barito, Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan).
This social service was held through collaboration between stakeholders, namely the Association of Indonesian Ophthalmologists (PERDAMI), North Barito Regency Government, North Barito Regency Health Service, and Muara Teweh Regional Hospital.
The Regent of North Barito Regency, Saladin appreciates and fully supports the social programs implemented by the company, including today’s cataract surgery social service activity initiated by the PAMA Kasih Foundation.
“Not just doing monitoring“We are also committed to overseeing the implementation of the program so that it is truly delivered to people in need so that it can improve the welfare of North Barito residents in a sustainable manner,” said Saladin in his speech.
Trustee of the Kasih PAMA Foundation (YKP), Puguh Sasetyo said that through this activity, the Kasih PAMA Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to continue providing social programs, especially in the health and humanitarian fields. PAMA Love Foundation believes that every small act of love can bring big changes to the lives of many people.
“This is not the first time we have carried out this cataract surgery activity, but rather the fourth time it has been carried out as a form of continuity of our services in the health sector. We are grateful that each implementation always brings a real positive impact,” said Puguh.

In his speech, Puguh also conveyed the importance of collaboration between the Kasih PAMA Foundation (YKP), PERDAMI, North Barito Regency Government, North Barito Regency Health Service, and Muara Teweh Regional Hospital in implementing sustainable social programs.
As part of its social mission to serve society and spread love to others, the PAMA Kasih Foundation seeks to provide health services that are inclusive and accessible to people in need, especially for those who have limitations in obtaining medical services.
In this activity, it was recorded that 236 residents had participated in the registration process gathered from 17 Community Health Centers in the North Barito Regency area and 1 Community Health Center in the Kapuas Regency area. Through inspection and screening health care carried out by professional medical personnel, as many as 185 participants were declared eligible and had undergone cataract surgery.
The ceremonial event for the opening of the Cataract Surgery Social Service was also attended by the Regent of North Barito, H. Salahuddin, and the Deputy Regent of North Barito, Felix Sonadie Y. Tingan. TH was also present. Puguh Sasetyo as Trustee of the PAMA Kasih Foundation, along with the team from PAMA Group and PERDAMI.
