Until the third quarter, PHE recorded positive performance

Jakarta, TAMBANG,- PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) as Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding succeeded in recording solid operational performance until the third quarter of 2025. This positive achievement is reflected in oil and gas production figures which reached 1.03 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MMBOEPD), consisting of oil production of 553 thousand barrels per day (MBOPD) and gas production of 2.83 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD).

Apart from maintaining production stability, Upstream Subholding also demonstrated superior performance in other operational activities such as the realization of exploitation drilling of 661 wells, workover activities of 969 wells, well service activities of 28,507 wells, 2D seismic surveys covering 109 kilometers (km), 3D seismic surveys covering 652 square kilometers (km2), and exploration of 15 wells by the end of September 2025. This achievement is proof of PHE’s commitment to maintaining energy security. nationally by increasing operational efficiency and reliability in all work areas, both domestic and international.

Pertamina Upstream Subholding Corporate Secretary, Hermansyah Y Nasroen, expressed his appreciation to all workers who have contributed to maintaining the company’s performance as well as support from work partners and stakeholders. “This positive achievement is the result of the hard work of all Pertamina Upstream Subholding Officers who continue to innovate and maintain operational productivity. We are committed to ensuring the sustainability of national oil and gas production and providing added value for Pertamina and Indonesia,” said Hermansyah.

Upstream Subholding also recorded significant performance in the discovery of 2C resources reaching 870 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE). Major discoveries in the Rokan working area are one of the main contributors to the growth of these resources, including the potential for non-conventional oil and gas (MNK) in the Aman Trough K7A and K7B areas as well as the addition of P1 reserves of 149 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE).

“The success of finding resources and increasing reserves shows a positive direction for the sustainability of Indonesia’s oil and gas production in the future in supporting the achievement of national energy security and independence targets,” concluded Hermansyah.
